In order to expedite identification of small investors in the chit fund companies, a meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of district Collector Ramesh Chandra Rout. ADM Manas Ranjan Padhi, Sub-Collector Sadar, Bhabataran Sahu, Additional SP Ramesh Chandra Panigrahi, Additional Project Director (finance) Ajay Kumar Sethi and tehsildars and other revenue staffs were present. Collector Rout, besides stating the guidelines issued by the State Government for identifying the investors, strictly also stressed that no one should be left in the process.
The tehsil offices would notify the identification process well in advance for the identification process which would inform the investors about the time, date and venue. Each team comprising three members including a RI and a police ASI would make field visit to verify the documents such as Aadhaar card, passbook and all the documents related to their investment in the chit fund companies, Rout said.
