: A preparatory meeting was held here under the chairmanship of Ganjam Collector Dibya Jyoti Parida regarding the smooth conduct of the ensuing general and Assembly elections 2024.
Collector Parida and ADM Priya Ranjan Prusty focused on zero tolerance on unlawful activities and zero casualty during the conduct of the polls. Special booth level arrangements will be made for the elderly and differently abled persons to cast their votes easily, it was revealed.
The Revenue, PWD, Transport and Police authorities were directed to prepare the route chart and vehicle arrangement. The officers and employees were advised to be impartial irrespective of party politics. The common people were requested to cooperate with the administration.
