A preparatory meeting for the Kalinga Baliyatra-2015,
scheduled to be held here from November 25 to 30, was held by the Kalinga Baliyatra Committee at the PPT Officers’ Club on Friday.
District Collector and committee chairman Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya pressed over the meeting.
Paradeep Municipality Chairman Basanta Biswal suggested for inviting local music and cultural troupes for cultural events at the festival and all support would be provided to the artistes by the Municipality. Besides, musical sensations Rutujaj Mohanty and Ananya Sritam Nanda are likely to perform in the cultural extravaganza.
Jagatsinghpur MP Dr Kulamani Samal, Paradip ADM and committee vice-chairman Dr RK Sahoo and committee secretary Basudev Satapathy were present, among others.
