As part of initiating a knowledge platform to share and discuss issues on child marriage, the second working group meeting which was held on Friday here discussed on various issues responsible for child marriage and also its remedies. Convened by NGO ActionAid, members from the Child Fund India, PlAN, World Vision India, Save the Children, State Resource Centre for Women, Cuttack Child Protection department officials as well as grassroots level organisations working in Sambalpur, Bargarh, Kandhamal, Koraput and Ganjam districts were present in the meeting. They discussed various issues on child marriage and set some action agenda to stop the practice.
