Even as Covid-19 has adversely impacted economic activities in Odisha due to lockdowns, the State Government is striving to bring the economy back on the track.
Amidst pandemic, the Government has geared up to drive the industrial activities and employment generation programmes. This was revealed at the 189th State Level Facilitation Cell (SLFC) meeting held through video conferencing with nodal officers from different industries on Wednesday.
The participants assessed the proposals of various sectors like cement, tourism and hotel industries. The Government also focused on creating industry-ready infrastructure and making available skilled workforce for the industry.
