The Santha Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital is in the news again as an under-treatment woman brought allegations of misbehaviour against the Medical Superintendent on Friday.
In her complaint lodged with the Balangir Town police, Arati Guru stated that she was undergoing treatment in the ICU when the Medical Superintendent came on a round visit to patients and misbehaved with her.
“We have registered a case in connection with this incident and investigation is on,” said Town PS IIC Gokulananda Sahu. However, Superintendent Dr Narayan Acharya refuted the charge, saying that he tried to enforce rules in the ICU only.
