Construction work of the proposed medical college and hospital by the Mahanadi Coalfields limited (MCl) would begin at Talcher soon, informed an MCl release on Sunday. It said all the necessary formalities have been completed to set up the state-of-the-art health institution in the Talcher Coalfields area.
The MCl, under its CSR project, has estimated to spend Rs492 crore for establishment of the health institute which would comprise a 100-seat college and a 500-bed hospital.The National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC), a CPSU under the Urban Development Ministry, has been identified to take up the construction work.
