The Mahanadi Coalfields Limited’s (MCL) Vigilance department conducted an awareness drive against corruption with an integrity pledge ceremony at the KISS University premises here on Thursday.
MCL CVO Munawar Khursheed said that this would act as a multiplier effect as one student can influence the other students also.
He was confident that since the children are the future citizens, the dream of Mahatma Gandhi for a corruption-free India would be fulfilled by these students.
Former IAS officer RN Das, gave the welcome address while KISS Vice-Chancellor Prof HK Satpathy also spoke on the occasion.
In another part of the awareness drive, an ‘Integrity Pledge’ was administered by international Khokho player Mandakini Majhi to the students of the institute.
