Beginning of a five-day yoga programme on ‘workplace happiness’ marked the International Yoga Day celebrations at the Mahanadi Coalfields limited (MCl) here on Thursday.
A yoga camp held at the MCl headquarters was inaugurated by Director (Technical/Operations) JP Singh and Director (Personnel) lN Mishra at Rajanigandha Hall-Jagriti Vihar and Nishigandha hall-Anand Vihar respectively in the presence of IRPF, Chief Vigilance Officer Munawar Khursheed, Director (Technical/ Projects and Planning) OP Singh and Director (Finance) KR Vasudevan.
Jagriti Manila Mandal vice-presidents Madhoo Mishra, Padmaja Singh and Padamini Vasudevan also participated in the programme. Similar programmes were also organised at company’s Basundhara area in Sundargarh district, Orient area, lakhanpur area and IB Valley area in Jharsuguda district and Talcher area, Jagannath area, Bharatpur area, Hingula area and Kaniha area in Angul district.
