Setting a new record in daily coal production, the Mahanadi Coalfields limited (MCl) produced 6.36 lakh tonnes of the dry fuel on Wednesday, which is the highest-ever by any coal company in the country.
Congratulating the MCl team for surpassing the six-lakh-tonne production figure in a day, MCl Chairman and Managing Director AK Jha on Thursday said the synergy of efforts from top to the lowest ranks working in the mine projects have made the company produce 6.36 lakh tonnes in a day.
“I am proud of my team and confident that we can achieve even higher targets,” said the CMD.
