Following a sharp reaction from National Green Tribunal member PC Mishra, whose name was misused by the MCl, the latter on Thursday tendered an apology to him. After a seminar on ‘Environmental jurisprudence with special reference to NGT,’ the MCl had issued a Press release saying Prof Mishra appreciated the MCl for strictly complying with the statutory environment norms.
However, after getting information about the Press release, Mishra clarified that he didn’t make such a statement. Dr Mishra told The Pioneer, “Discussion took place only on environmental jurisprudence with special reference to NGT.”
