Vigilance officials on Wednesday raided houses of Junior Engineer Rabinarayan Pothal of Morada block in Mayurbhanj district on the allegation of acquisition and possession of disproportionate assets.
Pothal’s residential house at Bhanjapur at Baripada Town in Mayurbhanj district, paternal house at Tentulia in Baleswar district and office room at Morada and brother’s house at Nagabhol at Udala in Mayurbhanj district were simultaneously searched by the Vigilance officers.
Total movable and immovable assets, including a double-storied building at Bhanjapur, all worth Rs 1,00,13, 087 have so far been detected in the name of Pothal and his family members.
