A two-day district level youth Mahotsav was observed here on November 8 and 9.
The Mahotsav was organised by the district sports unit on behalf of State Sports and Youth Service Department. Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Surath Mallick had inaugurated the event in the presence of District Sports Officer Sanatan Sahu.
Praising the efforts for organising the event, the ADM stated that with the help of this kind of activities, the real and hidden talent of the rural youths in the field of sports and culture can be explored distinctively. “The main objective behind organising the programme is to bring the hidden talent to the State, national and international level,” said the District Sports Officer. Participants of 15 blocks out of the total 26 blocks in Maurbhanj district attended the event.
