Mayurbhanj VHP camp concludes

Published on:

A two-day district level training camp of the Mayurbhanj unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) concluded here on Sunday.

The camp was held in the local Tulasichowra Saraswati  Shishu Vidya Mandir premises.

VHP State general secretary (organization) Anand Pandey attended the “Prashikshan Shivir” and called upon the Parishad workers to leave no stone unturned to make the upcoming December Viswa Hindu Sammelan in Bhuvaneswar a success. He also urged them to spread and strengthen the organizational network at the grassroots level.

Besides Pandey, district VHP leaders Sachindranath Giri, Harihar Tripathy, Haripada Kalia, Divakar Tripathy, Guru Prasad Dangua, Rama Chandra Saha, Visweswar Tudu, Somanath Das and others also addressed different sessions in the camp. They too, like Pandey, highlighted the importance of coming Viswa Hindu Sammelan and also stressed the need of a greater participation of Mayurbhanj delegates. It may be noted, the much-discussed Viswa Hindu Sammelan is going to be held in Bhubaneswar in the last week of December this year. This Sammelan is being organized here on the completion of 50 years of VHP work in the State, and it is the first-ever World Hindu Conference to be witnessed in Odisha.
