The All Indian Anti-Corruption Organisation, Odisha has alleged that the Omfed in connivance with the State Government has started initiatives to dissolve the Puri Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union ltd, which has been demanding probe into various irregularities in the Omfed.
It also questioned the slow progress in the Crime Branch probe into the irregularities in the tendering process of entrepreneur resources plan and misappropriation of `7 crore meant for welfare of milk farmers.
Organisation convenor Subrat Kumar Nanda on Saturday told reporters here that since the Puri Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union ltd has been demanding an inquiry into the irregularities, the concerned authorities have hatched conspiracy to dissolve it.
"As a result, there will be no one to oppose corruption," said Nanda.
