Marwari Manch organises summer camp at B'rajnagar

Published on:

With schools shut for vacation, summer camps have become the rage where children hone their creative skills.

The Brajrajnagar Marwari Yuwa Manch (MYM) held a five-day summer camp in coal rich town from May 22 to 26 at its Agrasen Bhawan premises. Around 60 children participated in the camp, where they attended art, dance, meditation, drawing, table cocking and craft workshops.

“Students were taught to make eco-friendly products like newspaper bags, handmade bird-table for birds, 3D photo frames and pot decoration. They also designed a hanging garden by using old plastic bottles,” said Manch secretary Rajiv Sharma.

They were trained under art teachers Khushbu Singhania, Anmol Didwania, Puja Singhania, Anmol Sakunia, Anjali and Priya Sharma.

Parents are happy that their children are busy doing something creative. “I enrolled my son at the summer camp. I am glad he is learning something new,” said parent Manoj Jain.

Manch president Bhawant Agarwal, secretary Sharma and all the MYM team participated in the event.
