Panic gripped Kalayanisinghpur and Sadar blocks after residents found posters, signed by Maoists, were found pasted on compound walls and trees on Tuesday.
The posters in Sikarpai, Kumbharguda, Krushapatraguda under Kalayansinghpur block and Kalisundar Mandir Chhak under Sadar block warned two persons of the locality.
The Red rebels also warned of stringent punishments to persons who are buying lands from poor local people for various companies and other business purposes. They also demanded immediate stopping of procurement of paddy from farmers through mandis opened by the Government.
The ultras also cautioned the agents looting money from unemployed youths promising them to provide job in Government and private organisations.
Sources said that the posters were pasted by the CPI(Maoist). Meanwhile, security has been beefed up in the area to avert any Maoist activities.
