A Maoist allegedly involved in the killing of Doordarshan Odia Cameraman Achyutananda Sahu was arrested in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday.
The wanted Maoist Kesha Korram, who carried a reward of Rs 2 lakh on his head, was nabbed by the Chhattisgarh police during a search operation at a forest in Dantewada on Wednesday.
The security personnel also seized a bunch of wires used for carrying out landmine explosions and detonators from possession of the Red rebel.
Police sources said Korram is an active member of the Darabha Action Committee of the banned CPI-Maoist outfit. He is an expert in carrying out IED and detonator explosions.
Reports said Korram was part of a Maoist group involved in the October 2018 Dantewada attack in which three policemen and the Doordarshan cameraman were killed.
Earlier, three Maoists including a woman allegedly involved in the attack were arrested in April 2019.
