The CRPF 126 Battalion busted a Maoist camp near Kandenjharen village in the Patdarha Reserve Forest under the Boden police station of Nuapada district on Thursday.
The forces seized huge quantities of explosives and several other substances and materials like 25 gelatin sticks, 37 detonators, eight tiffin bombs and a gun from the spot. The CRPF Battalion traced the camp while launching a combing operation there. Sensing the arrival of the CRPF personnel, the Leftwing extremists fled the camp leaving behind the items.
