Maoist banners surfaced near the Majhipali (Bhuliabandh) main intersection on the Paikmal Padampur Road in Paikmal block of Bargarh district on Thursday morning.
The banners stated that instead of workers, machines are being engaged in MNREGS work, due to which the poor people are suffering,
Besides, some residents of Jharmunda, Bhangkhuti, Salepali, Mithapali, Gurunda, Jamseth and Bartunda villages are informing the police about the movement of Maoist movements.
In the banners, the ultras urged people not to cooperate with the security forces and take care of the poor workers.
Some of the shopkeepers in the area are getting suspicious of those who are buying commodities in large quantities. Notably, a few months ago, a similar banner was put up in the same place.
