Maoists of Balangir-Argarh-Mahasamund Divisional Committee pasted hundreds of posters on walls and doors of houses in Bhuliasikua village of Nuapada district and adjacent Makhan village in Balangir district.
The posters printed in Odia and Hindi appealed to the people to observe PlG Saheed Week from July 31 to August 3. They also appealed the youths to work towards establishment of a reformed society.
The posters also state that the Maoists are against the dictatorship of the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre.
In another poster, they condemned the action of police in Godaljharan village of Kalahandi district. They said that comrade Suresh alias Suraj was killed by the police in a false encounter near Godaljharan. When Balangir district police seized the posters from Makhan village, the Nuapada police were yet to reach Bhuliasikua.
