Over a hundred of intellectuals, cine artists and youth leaders joined the BJP on the occasion of the National Youth Day, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, on Monday.
The youths led by noted cine artist and director Ashrumochan Mohanty, film director Sudhakar Basant and youth leaders Debabrata Barik, Niranjan Barik and Bijay Biswal joined the saffron party at its State headquarters here. The youths pledged to strengthen the party’s position as they are inspired by the ideals of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On the occasion, party general secretary Prasanna Mishra, vice-president Prithviraj Harichandan, senior leader Bijay Mohapatra and spokesperson Sameer Mohanty were present, among others.
