The Nagarika Committee of Sohela in Bargarh district alleged many private buses which are running from Bargarh to other districts and States through Sohela don’t have permits and fitness certificates.
Recently, during a raid, it was found that a number of buses which run through Sohela didn’t possess valid permit and fitness certificates. It was also found a bus having a permit from Nrusingnath to Keonjhar Anandpur was running from Paikmal to Sambalpur. As per the Nagarika Committee’s memorandum to the Baragarh SP, the RTO Bargarh conducted the raid and founded many vehicles to be defaulters. Notably, a bus from Bargarh having no permit and fitness certificate met with an accident recently.
