The Manav Adhikar Suraksha Manch’s Ghanta Yatra (cymbal beating rally) here demanding solution of the different problems of the City Hospital reached the 44th phase on Monday.
The Manch members alleged the MKCG Medical College Hospital authorities in the name of providing medical services are cheating the people as the CT scan machine installed in the medical is old and out of order.
They also said the Manch has been demanding filling up of doctor, nurse and technician posts and development in the MKCG Hospital along with City Hospital, Red Cross Hospital and Homeaopathy College and installing of necessary equipments.
A memorandum addressed to the Ganjam district Collector was submitted to the Sub-Collector in the matter.
Among others, manch coordinator Abani Kumar Gaya, secretary Maguna Nahak, Bansidhar Bhuyan, Trinath Maharana, Gauri Shankar Mohanty, Dwarikanath Ghadei, Rajendra Dala Behera, Parsuram Sahu, Pratap Sadangi and S Surjya Narayana were present.
