In an incident in the Nuagaon police station area of the district, an intimate video of a woman was made viral by none other than her husband.
In a complaint lodged with the Nuagaon police on Tuesday, the woman alleged that her husband and in-laws continuously harassed her over dowry demand. Though she had married three years ago, recently, she left her in-laws’ place to stay with her parents as the harassment become unbearable.
Livid over this, her husband uploaded their intimate video on social media, she alleged.
The Nuagaon police have began a probe into the matter based on the complaint. “We have registered a case after the woman filed a complaint alleging that she was being tortured by
her husband. An obscene video of the woman has gone viral on social media. An investigation is on,” informed Nuagaon IIC Manorama Mallick.
