A man allegedly threw acid on his wife at Dhauli on outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Wednesday evening following an argument. According to reports, the couple hailing from Puri came on sight-seeing to Dhauli, during which an argument ensued between two over matter. However, the accused lost his cool and threw acid at woman leaving her injured. The accused fled the spot after incident. On being informed, police reached spot, rescued victim and sifted her to Capital Hospital. She was later referred to SCB Medical College Hospital in Cuttack. Efforts were on by police to trace and nab accused.
