In an extremely inhuman act, a person allegedly flung his 10-month-old daughter to death on the road at Bhubanapur village under the Jenapur police limits in Jajpur district on Friday evening.
According to reports, Nanda Kishore Mallick of the village had a quarrel with his wife over some issues. losing his cool, Mallick smashed his infant daughter on the village road leading to her death. He went absconding after committing the crime, sources said.
The mother of the deceased baby lodged a complaint with the Jenapur police, following which cops started investigation into the incident seizing the body for postmortem. Efforts were on to nab the girl’s killer fathser, police sources said.
