A 42-year-old man was killed when a mini truck hit his motorcycle by which he was travelling near Pandara village on the new Bhubaneswar-Puri bypass on Tuesday morning. Sources said the truck hit the bike form the behind and dragged the deceased along with the vehicle, resulting in his death.
Following the incident, angry locals set the truck on fire and blocked the road. The police and fire brigade rushed to the spot and managed to pacify the mob.
