A drunken man stoned his wife to death in Sodamal panchayat under the Kolabira police station in Jharsuguda district on Monday following a heated argument. Police arrested Ramesh Dandsena (35) for allegedly killing his wife Sunita (30), Around two years back, Ramesh of Guchhapalli village had married Sunita Behera of Dandeipalli village under the Sindurpanka PS in Sambalpur district
But childless couple was most of times at loggerheads and quarreled.Following an argument, Ramesh hit Sunita on her head with a stone in village street. She died on spot before dazed locals could react.
But later, they tied Ramesh and informed police. Sunita's body was handed over to her family after postmortem by police.
