Despite the Odisha Police issuing advisories to curb posting of obscene videos on social media platforms, the menace refuses to die down.
In yet another example, the Commissionerate police arrested a person on Saturday from the Khandigiri area in the city for allegedly posting a video of private moments with his wife on social media.
The arrestee was identified as Udit Narayan Bhatt (25).
Police sources said Bhatt had married the woman a year ago.
Later, due to a strain in their relationship, both of them decided to stay separately.
A few days ago, Bhatt posted the video on Facebook, following which went viral on the social networking site.
When the woman came to know about it, she lodged a complaint with the Mahila police, following which the accused was arrested and forwarded to court.
