In a case of murdering his wife, a man was sentenced to life imprisonment by District and Sessions Judge V Jayashree here on Monday.
Convict lambu Besera (32) of village Nampo of Jaleswar was also sentenced to a fine of Rs 5,000. lambu had allegedly killed his wife Basanti (28) in August 2010 over a domestic quarrel. Information in this regard was given to the police by the Gramarakshi.
