The JMFC court here on Friday sentenced a person to two years of imprisonment and imposed a fine of `1,000 on him for getting a police Constable job by furnishing fake documents.
According to information, Rajat Parida of Kankadia village under Kendrapada Sadar police Station had been posted as Police Constable in the district way back in 2002. A complaint lodged later against him alleged that Parida had submitted a fake certificate in support of his date of birth to get the job. Thereafter, the police had arrested him and registered a case against him.
