The Commissionerate police on Saturday arrested the man who was caught on CCTV molesting a minor girl on a road at Laxmisagar here last week.
Police also took the accused to the spot for reconstruction of the crime episode, in which he demonstrated how he committed the offence.
But the police did not reveal any details of the accused stating that they would approach law court for conduct of a Test Identification (TI) parade.
“The accused in the Laxmisagar molestation case has been arrested. But we would not disclose the name or show photograph of the accused as we will pray court for conduct of a TI parade,” the Commissionerate police said in a release.
Sources said the accused is a small fruit trader of Saheed Nagar.
