The Phulbani Town police have registered a case against one Somendra Behera of Nayagarh for allegedly circulating an objectionable video of a girl through MMS. Sources said Behera had kept relationship with the girl, a student of the Nisawas College. He diluted some medicine in her cold drink and molested her and later sent its video with the help of some local youths.
Behera threatened the girl and her family of dire consequences if they reveal anything on the matter. Acting on an FIR lodged by the girl’s father, the police started investigation and later detained three persons in this connection for interrogation.
