The body of a 42-year-old man was recovered from the State Highway No.10 near Durlaga village under Talpatia police limits on Saturday.
He was identified as Indramani Sahoo, a resident of Talpatia area.
Police sources said that for some reasons, a quarrel had erupted between Indramani and his family members earlier. The family members had lodged an FIR in Talpatia outpost after which a compromise was held between them in the police station. But, on reaching home, Indramani again had picked up a quarrel and had gone away from home.
Indramani’s body was first sighted on Saturday morning by the locals who informed the police. Meanwhile, the police have sent the body for post mortem and registered an UD case. The cause of death will be clear on receipt of post mortem report, police said.
