leaders of the Odisha unit of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) met party supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the Special Circuit House in Puri on Wednesday.
The State leaders led by TMC Odisha chairman Aryakumar Jnanendra had discussions with Banerjee about the political situation in the State They also discussed about the State’s TMC organisational matters. Jnanendra requested Banerjee to attend a State-level rally of the TMC proposed to be held in Puri in near future. It may be noted that this was Banerjee’s first visit to Odisha ever since she became Chief Minister of West Bengal.
