DGP Abhay in a videoconference from the State police headquarters on Saturday stressed on making the police stations safe and more welcoming for the public. During the meeting, discussions were held on various important issues. The DGP directed to make the CCTVs of police stations functional round the clock and tamperproof.
He emphasised on policing and enforcement of Covid precautions (mask, social distancing, hygiene) change in work processes (arrest, interrogation).
