Bhadrak Lok Sabha MP Manjulata Mandal on Tuesday urged the Union Minister of State for Shipping to make the Chudamani Port an all-weather port and develop the coastal community and the coastline under skill development programme.
She demanded since there are four fishing harbours like Dhamara, Chudamuni, Kasia and Panchubisa, they should be developed.She said to make Chudamuni an all- weather port, survey work had already been completed. Since Odisha have lots of Coastal tourism potentiality, it should explored and developed under proposed scheme, she told.
The tourist spots are Chandabali, Dhamara, Lord Akhandalamani Pitha Aradi, Mohanpur Adia, Kasia and Panchubisa Baruni Ghat. Among others, five MPs of Odisha participated in videoconference and demanded for development of their respective constituencies.
