The Commissionerate police have arrested the prime accused involved in the murder of a youth in thed Jobra area of Cuttack city on June 9 night. The main accused, identified as Munna Reddy, was nabbed by a team of the Malgodown police from Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, police had arrested two accused, identified as Biswaranjan Mohanty alias Happy and Balaram Patra, for their alleged involvement in the murder. Notably, Tapan Nayak of Matia Mangala Sahi in Jobra area had died after allegedly being attacked by miscreants with sharp weapons.
The incident was fallout of a dispute between the deceased and the accused over fishing at Jobra barrage.
