The Commissionerate police of Cuttack have cancelled the pistol licences of Orissa Stevedore limited MD Mahinananda Mashra and his son Charchit Mishra in the course of investigation into the murder of Seaways Shipping & logistic GM Mahendra Swain.
The Jagatsinghpur police had requested the Commissionerate police for cancellation of these personal pistol licences. The police also froze Mishra’s bank accounts
The Jagatsinghpur police also asked the Bhubaneswar airport authorities about the OSl’s plane flight travels records from 2015 till date.
Jagatsinghpur SP Jay Narayan Pankaj told the media on Wednesday that the OSl flight licence may be cancelled if the flights have been used for illegal purposes like the Mahendra Swain murder case, and the airport authorities have been apprised about it.
