Refusing to grant any further time to the Public Prosecutor, the Orissa High Court on Monday fixed Tuesday’s first hour to complete the hearing on the bail application of arrested industrialist Mahimananda Mishra.
For the third time on Monday, when Public Prosecutor Janmejaya Katakia sought some more time to produce some more evidence against Mishra, Justice DP Choudhury, expressing displeasure, was in no mood to yield.
However, when Katakia insisted, Justice Choudhury adjourned the matter for only one day stating that it would be taken up as the first case on Tuesday and no further adjournment shall be allowed.
Mishra was arrested by the Paradip police in December last year in connection with a murder case. His counsel senior lawyer of Supreme Court KTS Tulsi had argued in the case claiming that there is no valid legal ground or any admissible document against his client.
