The State BJP would begin its Mahasampark Abhiyan from June 23 in the State to connect with its members enrolled recently. The campaign would continue till July 6. Under the chairmanship of party’s State unit president KV Singh Deo, a meeting was held at the State party office here on Monday to discuss about the smooth arrangement of the campaign.
The Mahasampark Abhiyan was planned by the national body of the party in New Delhi on June 2 to remember the death anniversary of Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee. During the massive campaign, each leader along with his supporters would go to the grassroots level to connect with the common people. The party workers would distribute books on party’s history, philosophy and objective.
Party sources said the members, who had enrolled their names by giving missed call to 18001034444, would get a missed call from the same number for completion of the membership process. Senior BJP leader Bijay Mohapatra, general secretary (organisation) Prasanna Mishra, vice president Pratap Sarangi and other party leaders attended the meeting.
