All India Youth Congress appointed loknath Maharathy as the new State unit working president after incumbent president
Rajat Choudhury was arrested by the CBI in connection with chit fund link three days ago.
Choudhary held power of attorney for a property belonging to the Artha Tatwa (AT) Group, allegedly a key player in the multi-crore scam. The property was later sold for Rs 94 lakh. He is also alleged to have taken money and a vehicle from AT chief Pradip Sethy.
Soon after his arrest on Monday evening, he was suspended from his party.
