The religious Panchudola Yatra was organised here with religious fervour and gaiety. As many as 158 idols of god and goddess from Banpur and Balugaon area gathered at Paltan Padia here on the occasion of the Yatra. On invitation of Pithapati Shree Charana Chakadev, all the god and goddess of the area came from different villages in leadership of presiding deity goddess Bhagabati.
All the deities had come with beautifully decorated palanquins. Thousands of devotes get the darsan of the deities and have seen the Maha Milana of deities at the evening. local MlA Raghunath Sahu distributed prizes to the sevayats of well decorated village deities.
Among others, president of Panchudola Yatra Committee Tehsildar BK Nayak and Panchayat Samiti Manas Kumar Pradhan were present.
