Accepting a proposal of noted persons, Utkal University of Culture Vice-Chancellor Prof Debendra Nath Jena on Monday announced that a Madhusmruti Samiti (Madhu Memorial Committee) would be formed soon to remember Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das, the main architect of modern Odisha, in a grand way.
Efforts should be made at both the Government and private levels to fulfil Madhubabu’s dreams. A memorial committee in the name of Madhubabu should be formed soon, said noted litterateur Rajat Kumar Kar while addressing a seminar held in the premises of the university on the occasion of the Utkal Gaurav’s birthday. He made a proposal that Madhsmruti Samiti be formed on behalf of the university under the chairmanship of its Vice-Chancellor.
