Members of the Tarbha Bar Association observed the Lawyer’s Day as well as birth anniversary Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das paying floral tributes to the legendary leader.
This was done for the first time after formation of a JMFC Court at Tarbha.
Senior Advocate Dasarath Mahana joined as chief guest while senior lawyers Adikanda Panigrahi and Sananda Bihari Mahapatra joined as chief speaker and guest of honour, respectively.
Chief Speaker Panigrahi referred to the efforts of Madhubabu that helped in the formation of Odisha as a State taking the people’s mother tongue Odia into consideration.
He also spoke about the importance of honesty and dignity on the part of lawyers.
Among others, lawyers Raju Sahu, Achyutananda Biswal, Kanhu Charan Dash and Tarbha NAC former Chairman Sailendra Sahu were Present. Tarbha Bar Association president Akshya Kumar Bagh coordinated the programme.
