Amid the growing resentment among the milk farmers against the State-owned Omfed’s decision of slashing 30 per cent milk procurement, the State Government on Friday replaced its Managing Director Bishnupada Sethi and appointed senior IAS officer Madhusudan Padhi as the
new MD.
Padhi is now also the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Principal Secretary. Sethi is now in Tamil Nadu for the Assembly election duty there.
Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer and Rail Coordination Commissioner Manoj Kumar Mishra was also appointed as the Information and Public Relations Department Special Secretary.
