The district administration of Malkangiri felicitated Karama Muduli, the Bonda PVTG girl who topped the district in the recently declared +2 Commerce Examination results.
Along with Karama, the second topper Pramila Nayak of Government SSD High School, Govindapalli, has also been felicitated in the presence of Sub-Collector, District Welfare Officer and other officials.

Hailing from a poor famer’s family, Karama has become the district topper in the Plus Two Commerce exam, the result of which was recently declared by the Council Of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) Odisha.
Collector Vishal sigh congratulated the duo and said the administration is working hard to get the dropouts admitted in schools which have been transformed under 5T and facilities of education are improving in the rural pockets.
Singh said education the only way to connect those backwards to the mainstream and argued that students should come back to schools and pursue for higher education.
Karama’s family members did not want her to continue her studies because of acute poverty and financial constraints. Besides, they had a strong notion that education has no meaning for a girl. But a determined Karama rose to face the challenges. She studied at a Government higher secondary school and gave her best.
