It seems that Minister Damodar Rout, who was critical of Minister Sanjay Dasburma for his alleged links with a chit fund firm a few days ago, is now going soft on Dasburma after party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s whip.
When asked by mediapersons on Sunday on the allegations raised by senior Congress leader lalatendu Bidyadhar (lulu) Mohapatra who on Sundayproduced a photograph of the Minister with a chit fund accused, Rout said since Mohapatra is Dasburma’s rival, so he raising such issues. “lulu Mohapatra is Sanjay Dasburma’s rival and the way he is targeting Dasburma is not fair,” said Rout, adding that lulu knows very well that factual evidences are needed to hold somebody guilty.
“If he has some proof regarding chit fund scam why he does not provide the same to CBI,” questioned Rout. He further went on saying that those who are trying to defame Naveen Patnaik and his Government would be sufferers.
