In an IAS-level reshuffle, the State Government on Thursday posted Sushil Kumar Lohani as the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Odisha.
Earlier, Lohani, a 1995-batch IAS officer, was Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Excise Department with Additional Charge of Commissioner, Commercial Taxes and GST, Odisha.
Surendra Kumar, 1993-batch IAS officer, was posted as Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department. He was holding the positions of CEO, Odisha and Ex-officio Principal Secretary to Home Department (Home) earlier.
Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, a 2017-batch IAS officer, was appointed as Chief General Manager of the Omfed.
Patil Ashish Ishwar, who is currently on deputation to the Union Government, was appointed as new Executive Director of Gridco, whereas P Anvesha Reddy named as Executive Director of Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC). Reddy, a 2017-batch IAS officer, is currently on deputation to the Union Government.
Besides, 2017-batch IAS officer Divakara TS was posted as OSD of the OCAC, Bhubaneswar while Hema Kanta Say named as the new Managing Director of the OTDC. Both the officers are presently on deputation to the Union Government.
